Where is Dan DeLa Cruz in 2011?
Posted on April 18th, 2011 1 commentHey guys,
I know I’ve been missing in action for a couple months now… No I wasn’t kidnapped by Colombian Rebels in Colombia…
I’m still in New Jersey and I’m actually hustling my ass off trying to make as much money as humanly possible, and I’ll tell you why…
Over the years I’ve been reading and learning a lot more about the economy and I’ve come to the conclusion that the U.S. dollar is headed for a long term decline. At the same time over the years while traveling to south American I’ve seen the power of the almighty dollar head further down with each passing day. I remember when Canada use to be so cheap. You could go to the best strip clubs in Montreal and get a lap dance, give the girl a 10 dollar bill and it was like giving her a 50 by today’s standards… Brazil same thing, Rio was cheap for Americans heading down there with dollars. More recently I’ve seen the dollar decline even against currencies like the Colombian Peso…
I decided that if I want the prospect of long term travel and life I had to make some sacrifices and take some drastic measures. I decided I’d come back to New Jersey and work like never before, at the same time sticking to my guns and only dating foreign women. I decided to focus on Newark NJ where I’ve met and dated a nice handful of Brazilian Girls Here In the United States. But my number one priority is to make money and to invest it in things that will protect me against the decline of the dollar…
So basically my investment strategy is to invest in countries and currencies that will prosper during the inflationary times ahead. I’ve invested in commodities in countries such as China, Australia, and Canada. I’ve heavily invested in sectors such as oil and natural gas, and especially precious metals. I’m also investing in gold and silver. I’m doing all of these things because after all the reading I’ve done and hearing out both sides of the arguments, I’m convinced the dollar will continue to decline over the years which means as time goes by traveling for Americans will get more and more expensive. I highlighted all of these concerns in a past article called Why American Men Should Be Worried About Inflation And The Dollar.
Since writing the above article in 2009 commodities have soared and the dollar has continued to decline. Every day the dollar reaches all time record lows against many currencies. I’m not a doomsayer, I don’t think the world is going to end, but I do think the purchasing power of the dollar on a global scale will continue to decline. So I would recommend all my readers to do their own research on both sides of the story.. I’ve come to my conclusion and that’s why I’m working my tail off for the next 6 to 12 more months so I can invest a bit more and eventually feel safe and protected when I head back down to Latin America… Next stop will most likely be Brazil…

The Risks And Rewards of Dating Foreign Women
Posted on June 9th, 2010 2 commentsA lot of times when I think about international dating and meeting and dating foreign women, especially when traveling abroad is involved, I think about the investing in foreign markets. You might think this is a weird connection, but let me explain…
About three years ago before I started traveling full time, I started to get worried about the U.S. economy. Real estate prices were tumbling for months on end, and most people in the main stream media were forecasting a booming recovery. There were a few people who I happened to catch by luck that seemed a bit more realistic, and who were predicting a huge downturn.
I read up on both sides of the story and the “dooms day” people seemed to have a lot more common sense and facts behind them.
Many of these “dooms day” investors had been recommending investing in foreign markets for the past 10 years and they had seen much better returns then in the U.S. markets. Regardless of this, most of consensus among mainstream investors was that the U.S. was by far the safest place to invest, hands down, no questions asked.
I decided that the mainstream media was just propaganda, and I decided to listen to the few investors who were investing abroad because this strategy made more sense to me.
I don’t have a lot of money to invest but I decided to move the little I had over to foreign markets, which by mainstream standards was the riskiest move of all.
Three years later, I can tell you from personal experience, that I made the right choice. Many of my acquaintances, co-workers and friends got killed in 2008 in the U.S markets, and they still haven’t recovered to this day. Meanwhile I’ve seen my investments increase dramatically, even with all the volatility in the global markets.
So this brings me back to my original point. If you ask 90% of people they think your crazy if you invest in foreign markets and not in the U.S. but all these people missed the boom in foreign markets over the past 10 years.
It’s the same with International dating. Most people will throw out objections and reasons why you shouldn’t travel to Colombia, or Costa Rica, or Brazil or a host of other places to meet women. But those are the same 90% who probably missed one of the best investment opportunities of the decade: investing in foreign markets and precious metals.
Yes there are risks to traveling to places like Colombia. Mainly safety. But the risks are well worth the rewards. And it’s not a warzone either. It’s not like you’re heading into Baghdad. There’s probably more petty crime in Colombia then your own back yard, this is true, but if you take the recommended safety precautions, and don’t let yourself get taken advantage of, the risks are minimal and the rewards are probably better that anything you’ve experienced.
You can call me the Dr. Doom of U.S. dating. I’m telling you dating abroad is the better option. I’ve written a book about why it IS the better option, and I’ve listed all my research including government, and international statistics that are hard to argue against. It’s called The Global Dating Revolution. I’m not telling you it’s risk-less, nothing in life is risk-less, but the risk of staying local and not really having the options with women that you really want are much worse in my mind then having a bit more physical risk in a place like Brazil or Colombia but being satisfied with your relationship or your dating life.

Your Citizenship – Your Ticket To Romantic Freedom
Posted on July 14th, 2009 No comments
If you’re reading this you’re probably a guy that lives or use to live in one of the wealthy, industrialized nations of the world. Like Australia, USA, England, Canada etc. One thing that you probably never stopped to think about is how powerful your citizenship is, and how much we take this for granted. You see, there are millions of people across many countries who can’t travel outside of their country without soliciting a visa. For example, there are millions of people who solicit tourist visa’s to travel to the United States, every year, but the visa’s are limited and many people never get them because of this limitation and the strict requirements that need to be met.
You and I don’t have to worry about this. We can travel throughout the world with 100 times less restrictions then millions and perhaps billions of others. I’ve traveled to over a dozen countries and I’ve only had to solicit one visa, which was the visa to travel to Brazil.
Even the Brazil visa was really easy to obtain. It took me one whole day a trip to New York and $100. It isn’t that easy to get a tourist visa to the USA. Paperwork in foreign countries can take far longer with many more obstacles then we’re use to.
So take advantage of your citizenship. As a citizenship of an economically prosperous nation, you have free reign to travel to many countries throughout the world with just your passport, no other paperwork needed.
Don’t take this for granted. There’s probably billions of people who would love to be in your position.
To top it all off, many of the countries which will never require you to do any paperwork are countries which are filled with attractive foreign women who would be eager to meet a guy just like you.
If you think about how easily we can travel throughout the world, compared to citizens of other countries, it’s really amazing and it makes it very possible for us to take our dating global.
It doesn’t get any easier then this. Just imagine if you had to wait in line and fill out tons of paperwork and go through all this hassle just to travel to some of these places. It really would make this a lot harder, and the fact is that all you have to do is buy a plane ticket and get your ass on that plane!
