I live in the US, and though I love it here, I've wanted to move to Sweden (or one of the Scandinavian countries, but preferably Sweden) for SO many reason: best education, very liberal & open minded, feminist, nice, beautiful people (or so I'm told) and a large # of atheists, my ideal paradise..the only things that have kept me are that I've heard things can run expensive, (of course they also make more $ than we do, and the govt takes care of medical & educational services), and the fact that I'm Latina (Dominican) and don't know how I'll be welcomed, also learning the language would be challenging..I'm scared of the change and of doing it on my own, but hopefully it'll happen as soon as I graduate college.

I absolutely think this is ridiculous, coz I leave in Africa, Zimbabwe and it is probably the safest and most friendliest place in the world. New York City is rated second in the world in terms of crime rate next to Soweto South Africa, but I dont see it in red. We actually dont know what a serial killer is here in Zimbabwe, we dont have those, and in the past decade or so we've had between 3-5 armed robberies I think 2 were banks and the other 3 were supermarkets and all had South Africans involved with the help of some zimbabweans, we do have theft going on here and there but other than that no sex trade, approximately 1 rape case every 2 to 3 months, prostitution still illegal, a very very strict gun policy, you'll be hard pressed to find just anyone with a gun here, if you own a business then you have to convince the court why you feel you need a gun, you dont just get it. I do think, however, that the western world has it in for Africa and Asia, so the media portrayal of these 2 continents is mostly false, Somalia is as bad as they say it is though, but other places are really quite peaceful. If you really look into it the experts who did this analysis are American or European, so I think its biased. We do, however, have quite a crappy economy, I think one of the worst in the world, you wud think with that there wud be civil wars and staff but nope...oh and we are rated the most literate African country. Go on look it up...

No country is safe for men, not even North America, except Western and Northern Europe and Australia and New Zealand, where men are less territorial and possessive over their women. But then again in those progressive, yet feminist countries, women there sexually harass men more often, especially in Scandinavian countries, England, Germany, or France, for example, because they're more sexually aggressive than men, so guys be prepared to deal with it and don't retaliate by doing the same thing.
