I wish I have read your book before my trips to South America, I learned the hard way, In the past 2 years I have been to Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia to meet women I have met online. My favorite place was Medellin, beautiful women and a beautiful city with very friendly people. After reading your article on Barranquilla and connecting with a few women there, I plan to go to Barranquilla in a few months. I do have some advice for the gringos who meet Latin women online, if you are not serious about flying down and meeting them, do not lead them on,it is cruel and mean, until you send them a copy of your itinerary many will think you are like all the other Americans who promise but do not deliver.

It really depends on your situation. If you need a translator (don’t know any spanish), if it’s your first time in Colombia or Latin America, if you have the money to spend for the overhead of a introduction agency or romance tour, if you’re traveling alone and are worried about safety, if you have any of these concerns then you should look into going on a tour or through an agency. On the other hand if you’re on a budget, like to adventure on your own, already have contacts down there, and know spanish you might save money and be better off going it alone.

The ratios favor the men here as well, I just made a new post about meeting Colombian women in your back yard that alludes to that fact. But it’s not just the ratios that will be in your favor. There is such a high concentration of attractive women that even if the ratios are even on any given night or day, you will find yourself being attracted to the majority of women you encounter. Sadly, I don’t think the same can be said for the good ol’ U.S. of A.

Great pictures! You have mentioned before about the ratio of women to men in Brazil. Since you are now in Colombia…what do you think the women to men ratio is there? (I am also very curious because I am planning a trip to Colombia in November…while I have traveled and dated extensively in Russia and Eastern Europe, this will be my first foray into South America).
